Note. There will not be any kind of payments to authors who have their manuscripts published
in this journal. The Brazilian Journal of Rural Education (Countryside Education) is an
electronic open access journal, in order to socialize knowledge and contribute to the scientific
advancement in the research area of Rural Education (Countryside Education) and Education in
general.
6. During the submission process (sending) of the manuscript to the Brazilian Journal of
Rural Education (Countryside Education) (online, at the journal website, accessed with
login and password through the
URL: https://sistemas.uft.edu.br/periodicos/index.php/campo), it should be included in
the journal system information such as complete name(s) of the author(s) (maximum
three), their address(es), institutional affiliation and e-mail of the lead author for
correspondence, as well as its institutional physical address. This information should not
be inserted in the text, just in the journal system.
7. The Brazilian Journal of Rural Education (Countryside Education) will only accept a
publication per year in the journal by the same author.
8. The journal accepts submissions of manuscripts in Portuguese, Spanish and
English.
9. The papers (articles, essays, reviews) must be submitted online, through the
URL: https://sistemas.uft.edu.br/periodicos/index.php/campo
10. In the Microsoft Office Word documents, the author identification should be removed
from the document properties (on the Word menu> Word Options or property).
11. If the manuscript has been previously published in conference proceedings, in the form
of abstract or full text, the author shall mandatorily inform the situation in the text sent to
the journal, on the first page.
12. Articles should contain: abstract, keywords; resumen, palabras-clave; Introduction,
Development (discussion) Conclusion and References.
13. The title should be in Portuguese, English and Spanish and have a maximum of 15
words.
14. The abstract and resumen should not exceed 200 words. They should contain the main
manuscript information (problem and objectives of the paper, the methods used,
advances to the research area, main results and conclusions). They must be followed by a
maximum of five keywords, separated by commas.
15. Manuscripts must be at least 15 and should not exceed 25 pages, including figures, tables
and references. They should be written using the Microsoft Word processor (Word),
Times New Roman, 12, spacing 1.5 between lines and the following margins: lower,
upper, left and right 2.5 cm. All pages should be numbered sequentially.
16. Color pictures are accepted (photos, drawings, maps). However, they should have a
resolution of 300dpi, preferably saved in JPG format, and have size 12 cm x 8.5 cm.
They must have titles/references right below them and be sequentially numbered in
Arabic numerals, when referred to in the text.
16. Citations should follow the APA (American Psychological Association).
17. When really necessary, the notes should be inserted in the final page in the text and
should have explanatory character. They must have size 10 and not exceed three lines.
18. The file containing the paper (article, essay, review) to be attached (sent) to the journal
website (URL / journal website) during the online submission must not exceed the size
of 2MB or may be accompanied by any type of information that proves the authorship of
the paper. It is necessary to maintain the anonymity of the author(s) in the text and
figures, tables etc.
19. If links are included in the text, the following procedure in Word is required: "insert
hyperlink", and this link must be active.
