Call for Papers: Brazilian Journal of Physical Education (ABEF)

The Brazilian Journal of Physical Education (ABEF) (ISSN 2595-0096), an open-access scientific journal linked to the Pro-Rectorate for Research and Innovation (PROPI) of the Federal University of Northern Tocantins (UFNT), invites researchers, faculty, students, and professionals in the field to submit their manuscripts for our current volume.

 

Focus and Scope

Committed to disseminating science in a pluralistic manner, ABEF publishes studies that significantly contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Physical Education as a whole. We encourage submissions in the following areas:
- Pedagogical and Sociocultural Aspects of Physical Education
- Public Health and Physical Activity Epidemiology
- Exercise Physiology and Sports Training
- Biokinetics, Biomechanics, and Human Movement Control
- Clinical Physical Activity, Health Promotion, and Rehabilitation

Specific Guidelines for this Call

To strengthen our collection of primary evidence, this call prioritizes the acquisition of Original Research Articles (clinical trials, observational studies, rigorous qualitative research, and systematic reviews).
- Institutional Diversity: We strongly encourage submissions of studies from researchers and research groups external to the host institution (national and international), strengthening the journal's inter-institutional network.
- Accepted languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
