INTRODUCTION
The Brazilian Archives of Physical Education (Arq. Bras. Educ. Fís.) is a scientific journal that publishes original articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical trials, case studies, and letters to the editor, always with a strong methodological and statistical emphasis on themes related to Physical Education.
HISTORY
The journal was created in 2018 as an initiative of the Physical Education program at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), with the primary mission of disseminating knowledge in the field with scientific excellence and rigor. As the first Physical Education scientific journal in northern Tocantins, it took on the challenge of bringing regional scientific production to the forefront, encouraging the publication of studies that uphold professional ethics, methodological robustness, and the academic growth of the field.
Currently, the journal operates under a continuous publication model, belongs to the Federal University of Northern Tocantins (UFNT), and is institutionally affiliated with the Dean of Research and Innovation (PROPI).
