MEMÓRIAS DE UMA SEXAGENÁRIA NÃO CORRESPONDIDA
Abstract
This poem is about the feelings of a sixty-year-old woman who clings to the past and lives the memories of an unrequited love. The lyrical self represents the voices of many Cacerenses from the 60's and 70's who, at the time of the flood of the Paraguay River, admired the sailors coming from Corumbá-MS on the pier in the city of Cáceres-MT. When sailors left, they took the hearts of young women with them.
