Leslie Kern is a Canadian feminist geographer. She is currently an associate professor of geography, environment and director of women's and gender studies at Mount Allison University in Sackville, Canada. She has several works in the area of urban geography on the themes of feminism, gender and gentrification. The book now reviewed, “ciudad feminista”, originally published in 2019, has become a rapid editorial success, having been translated in Germany, Argentina and recently in Brazil.
