Abstract

Agriculture can be understood by at least two major processes, the conservative modernization of agriculture, divided into two waves, the first beginning with the industrial revolution and the second wave of conservative modernization of agriculture starting in the 1970s, this time aspire to a transition to a financialized agricultural production, generating the transition from the technical environment to the informational scientific technical environment. In agriculture, from the agrarian to the rural. The strengthening of criticisms of the modernizing model of agriculture, especially with regard to environmental and social sustainability, are raised internationally in the 1970s in the midst of the energy crisis, at this moment it began to seek proposals that would convert modernized agriculture into a green agriculture, it is this transition process that we are calling the greening of agriculture. This article analyzes the phenomenon of ecologization in the territory of Pará from public policies, discourses and strategies launched by different actors who dispute the right to use the present resources, it is possible to observe two networks of active actors, which configured two logics of ecologization of agriculture, the ecotechnocratic and the ecosocial, sometimes close to the employer sectors, sometimes close to traditional peoples and communities and family farming.
