Abstract

The present text presents a dossier in celebration of ten years of the post-graduation program in Geography (PPGG), from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), at Porto Nacional campus, with a brief synthesis of its trajectory geo-historical, which landmark is the first master’s dissertation defense, which occurred in July 2013, achieving, therefore, ten years in 2023; and with thirteen articles that reveal different aspects form the trajectory of its main faculty, as well as it expresses a part of the constructions of geographical knowledge produced in Tocantins state.

Kelly Bessa, Federal University of Tocantins

PhD in Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Master and graduate in Geography from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Currently, she is a professor at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), working in the Geography courses (Bachelor and Degree) and in the Graduate Program in Geography (PPGG), Porto Nacional campus, Tocantins.

Sandro Sidnei Vargas de Cristo , Federal University of Tocantins

Geographer. Bachelor's degree in Geography, Specialization in Interpretation of Orbital and Suborbital Images and Postdoctoral in Geography from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Master's in Geography from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), PhD in Geography from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), working in the Geography courses (Bachelor and Degree) and in the Postgraduate Program in Geography (PPGG), Porto Nacional campus, Tocantins
