Abstract

The significant environmental alterations done by anthropic activities results on the discussion about of a terminology that includes human beings as geological agents results on a proposition of a new geological period entitled Technogeous or Quinary. The Technogeous Deposits are created by the accumulation of material of varied forms and composition resultant of disposable of human activities, which added on environment change the dynamic creating obstacle to the urban development. The focus of this work consists in a review of studies involving the Technogeous Deposits highlighting the methodologies of analyses, classifications employed and main proposals of solving problems involving this issue.
