Of the aesthetic character to the subjective character of the landscape

A perspective through the geography

Abstract

The present work brings a synthesis of ideas and clippings related to the concept of Landscape, in the bias of Geography. The theoretical efforts launched are not definitive; however it brings together essential references of the concept of Landscape, with theoretical links and brings understandings and reflections on this approach about Landscape. In this sense, the objective of this work seeks to raise a theoretical direction of Landscape, from the geographical perspective, through a brief bibliographic review, necessary for argumentation and organization of ideas. Thus, the intentionality of the present work is a constant construction of knowledge and that other readings and efforts should be added to the ideas placed here. To compose the theoretical framework, a theoretical-temporal trajectory was made comprising: the aesthetic dimension, the physical-morphological character and the subjective reading of the Landscape. This theoretical trajectory above was being constructed as the bibliography was defined, respecting the timeline of the authors and ideas. Through the theoretical framework constructed, it is emphasized that although the concept of landscape is polysemic, it involves diverse understandings and applications, being necessary in the contributions of scientific research. With this, it brought an approach that permeates, on a time scale, theoretical considerations in landscape studies
