Resumen

The main objective of this article is to demonstrate some characteristics of the movement of sugarcane capital in Brazil and particularly in Mato Grosso do Sul. This research was carried out between 2007 and 2013 through a bibliographical survey, documentary research and the compilation of data and information with the specialized media, In addition to fieldwork in areas of expansion of sugarcane agro-business. It was verified that the expansion and retraction of the investments of the national capital, in consortium with the international capital, is effected by the political, economic and technological collaboration, in an articulated game of relations where the maneuvers and strategies are elaborated with a view to maximize the reproduction of the Capital at world level.

Professor da Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo. Editor da Revista Cosmos (ISSN:1679-0650). Licenciado e Bacharel em Geografia pela FCT/UNESP/Presidente Prudente -SP aonde também fez o Doutorado em Geografia (2013) na área de concentração: Produção do Espaço Geográfico. Mestrado em Geografia pela UFGD - MS (2008). Exerceu o cargo de professor de Geografia junto a Secretaria de Educação do estado do Mato Grosso do Sul entre 2006-2007. Membro da Comissão Científica da Revista Pegada - UNESP (ISSN: 1676-3025); Co-autor dos livros: Questões básicas sobre a pesquisa científica (ISBN:978-85-7917-047-8) e Nas veredas do trabalho - O Sindetanol (ISBN: 978-85-8097-256-6).
