A INFLUÊNCIA DA ARBORIZAÇÃO NO COMPORTAMENTO MICROCLIMÁTICO DA UNIDADE DE CONSERVAÇÃO IZABEL DIAS GOULART

The study aims to characterize the microclimatic behavior of the Conservation Unit Izabel Dias Goulart and its surroundings. However, highlighting the importance of green in urban areas. The Conservation Unit (UC) is located in the urban perimeter, more precisely near the Permanent Preservation Area (APP) of the left bank of the Red River, floodplains of Lourencinho Stream, leisure areas and also between middle class housing estates . From this perspective, the meteorological variables were collected at three points, where, purposely, the location chosen for point 1 has no vegetation. The theoretical-methodological references were used to perform a systematic and interpretative study of the concepts and techniques of Climatology, Urban Microclimate, Physical Geography and Environmental Planning. Fieldwork was used to collect data, perform time sensitive analysis and make photographic records, as well as understand the factors of spatial organization, anthropic action and existing biogeographic factors. The collection of meteorological variables, Temperature (T) and Relative Humidity (UR) was performed once a month, in the months of November, December, January and February. After the period of data collection, we used the Excel version 2016 program to manipulate the data, where we produced tables with the averages and graphs for a better analysis of the same. The results of our research led us to have the same perception as the studies referred to here, where trees proved to be excellent inhibitors of ultraviolet rays, becoming a tool of freshness, minimizing thermal stress. When characterizing microclimates in the Conservation Unit Izabel Dias Goulart and surroundings, it is evident that green exerts a positive influence on the climate of cities, being more noticeable the improvement of thermal comfort in microscales.
