In any society requires an experienced teacher and that makes a difference. One of the elements for this professional is one's own experience with the school context, especially in the classroom. This work seeks to elucidate a new approach to the teaching of geography, using the city as a guiding and reference of geography teaching representations. The study was conducted in the year 2016 and 2019, which covers the city of Formosa GO and their respective points, as a reflective critical nature tool guided in teaching geography, based on a literature review and related to the many facets of the city. Enabling new approaches to the teaching of geography in all its aspects.
