This is a project for the delimitation and quantification of Permanent Preservation Areas within the Environmental Protection Area of Nascentes de Araguaína - APANA. In view of the large territorial extension of APANA, Monitoring and Environmental Management require the use of remote spatial analysis tools, such as Remote Sensing and Geoprocessing. These instruments spatialize information, process georeferenced data, cross-referencing information and presenting final products for decision-making. In this sense, a Cartographic survey and the creation of a detailed and precise Geographical Database of the limits of Permanent Preservation Areas and Water Courses are proposed. Which, among other uses, will be able to subsidize the Systemic Analyzes and integrated between the types of land uses inside the Permanent Preservation Areas and the current legislation.
