FOLIA DOS SANTOS REIS DE LAGOLÂNDIA, NA TRILHA DAS SONORIDADES FESTIVAS

Resumen

We propose a brief study of the sounds from the ritual’s music that compose the religious phenomenon present in the Three Kings Folia, which runs through Lagolândia District, in Pirenópolis municipality, in Goiás. It’s about a popular Catholicism manifestation which acquired specificities and singularity.  It is a folia which in its ritual form draws a circular path composed by the farms from this district, defining a dynamic spatiality and landscape, a being going to some place where the music are the festivity amalgam. The Folias are understood as a contemporary complex phenomenon, endowed with subjects. The inferences presented here are the result of field research conducted over two years on site in addition to the references on the subject of Religiosities in the Cerrado nowadays.
