This text presents a mapping of research in Physics Teaching on gender and sexualities. For this, we searched for academic productions published in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The organization of the data was based on Content Analysis and the results allowed us to categorize the texts mapped into four large groups: 1) Are boys really better than girls in Physics? Searching for psychological-cognitive patterns in quantitative data, 2) Physics at school and the “gender problem”, 3) The constitution of gendered identities in/in Physics and 4) Reviews and Diagnostics. In general, the results point to most of the works with a binary and cisgender-based understanding of gender, and little exploring sexualities.
