Abstract

This paper reports the use of the “Fountain of the fair fortune” game, created in the ambit of ProfLetras and tested with 9th grade students of two schools. This learning object (LO) sustained the teaching of tale, particularly, its plot. Its creation, application and result analysis were based on the theories by Bronckart (1999), about textual genres; Huizinga (2005), about game; Mendes et al. (2004) e Tarouco (2003), about LO. From these testing experiences, it was verified that the LO fulfilled its purpose and allowed to teach genres in a collaborative way, developing competences and performing language actions.
