Resumen

The housing is a basic right for any human being, without it there is no stability for men and women to invest in their dreams and projects of life. A good quality of life passes, mainly, by people's living conditions and the feasibility of their rights as citizens. However, this right is seriously affected in Brazil when to confuse citizen as a synonym of consumer, leaving the private sphere dictate the rules of who is worthy or not to have that right in the country. In this aspect, the objective of this article is to analyze the question of housing in Brazil and reflect on citizenship and the philosophical meaning of drewlling. For its viability was used bibliographical and documentary research, Besides reflections of the authors regarding the reality lived in the country.
