The Mathematics Trails proposal is in accordance with a pedagogical action that connects classrooms with extracurricular activities carried out outside the school environment, aiming to link school learning situations with contexts outside the schools. This article is an excerpt from a dissertation, which was developed with two national and three international researchers, who investigate the theme related to Mathematics Trails and also with six former students of an Ethnomathematics discipline. One of the main objectives of this study is to identify the possible relationships of the pedagogical action of the Mathematics Trails through the Ethnomathematics Program according to the perspective of the participants. In this sense, this study enabled the suggestion of an expression called 'Ethnomathematics Trails', which seek to help students in reading their reality to guide them towards a better understanding of their surroundings through these trails, enabling a deeper interaction with their own world
