THE CYCLE OF DEBATES IN ETHNOMATHEMATICS AND ETHNOMODELLING IFPI-CAANG

This work is a reinterpretation of the 1st Cycle of Studies and Debates in Ethnomathematics and Ethnomodelling, promoted by the Federal Institute of Piauí, Angical of Piauí campus, in partnership with the EtnoMatemaTicas Brasis community and the Red Internacional de Etnomatemática. It consists of an analysis of written and audiovisual documents referring to the pioneering experience in Ethnomathematics in Piauí. It brings considerations about the impact of the project on academic activities in Ethnomathematics and Scientific Education to the creation of a research agenda, with a perspective of expansion and strengthening of partnerships, expansion of the social and cultural capital of the institute's group, its studies and research resulting from the interaction with researchers from all regions of Brazil and some countries in the Americas and Europe.
