FRAMES EMULATED ON THE BASIS OF ENTRAR_EM/PARA
EXAMPLES IN THE TWITTER ENVIRONMENT

This study aims at identifying examples of frames emulated on the basis of the structure ENTRAR_EM/PARA. For this, we collected twenty tweets containing the linguistic cues ‘entrar em’ and ‘entrar para’, in which motion seems to ground the understanding of more abstract domains. We adopt an ecocognitive approach and employ the notions of framing and conceptual emulation. Our results point to frames emulated on the same schematic structure, such as ENTRAR_PARA_A_HISTÓRIA, ENTRAR_EM_COLAPSO e ENTRAR_NA/PARA_POLÍTICA, and provide interesting insights into how contextual elements are framed by this structure.
