Abstract

This text presents the lines of action and activities developed by the participants of the Institutional Pedagogical Residency Scholarship Program - Geography subproject of the State University of Ponta Grossa, which were implemented in three schools of the State Public Network between August 2018 and December 2019. The theoretical basis of the project was based on the development of teaching professionalism, focused on the apprehension of teaching knowledge. Studies on the teaching profession were developed, analyses and critical discussions of the Common National Curriculum Base were carried out, socio-environmental diagnoses of the schools were produced, geoscientific shows, pedagogical workshops, outings in the field, individual and shared regencies and organizational activities in the schools. In summary, the results reveal contributions to the professional training of resident students in the field of student knowledge, school context, materials and curriculum, in addition to pedagogical knowledge of geographical content. The students from the partner schools participated in innovative practices and there was a strengthening of the relationship between IES and the basic education schools.

Graduated in Geography from the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG). Master in Geosciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). PhD in Education from the University of São Paulo (USP). Effective professor at the Department of Geosciences at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG).
