In historiographical studies, one of the least discussed topics is related to the history of education, mainly during the Republic. In this stage, the greatest historiographic gap is found in the history of the academic institutions that made it up. In the municipality of Artemisa these investigations are even scarcer, so the present work aims to explain the process of formation of the Institute of Second Teaching of Artemis. Methods of the theoretical and empirical level were employed respectively, such as: historical-logical, analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive and documentary analysis. The reasons for the creation of the Artemisa Secondary School are analyzed and the reasons for the transfer of said center to other places are examined, as well as the school zone of its students and some activities that served to stimulate the stay of these
O processo de formação do Instituto do Segundo Ensino de Artemisa em Cuba
Nos estudos historiográficos, um dos temas menos discutidos está relacionado à história da educação, principalmente durante a República. Nesta etapa, a maior lacuna está na história das instituições acadêmicas que a compõem. No município de Artemisa estas investigações são ainda mais escassas. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho visa explicar o processo de formação do Instituto do Segundo Ensino de Artemis. Métodos do nível teórico e empírico foram utilizados, respectivamente, como: análise histórico-lógica e documental. As razões para a criação da Segunda Escola Secundária de Artemisa são analisadas e a razão para a transferência deste centro para outro local é examinada, assim como a zona escolar de seus alunos.

El proceso de formación del Instituto de Segunda Enseñanza de Artemisa en Cuba
RESUMEN. En los estudios historiográficos, uno de los temas menos abordados es el relacionado con la historia de la educación, principalmente durante la República. En esta etapa el mayor vacío se sitúa en la historia de las instituciones académicas que la conformaron. En el municipio de Artemisa estas investigaciones son aún más escasas, por lo que el presente trabajo se propone explicar el proceso de formación del Instituto de Segunda Enseñanza de Artemisa. Fueron empleados métodos del nivel teórico y empírico respectivamente, tales como: histórico-lógico y el análisis documental. Se analiza las razones de la creación del Instituto de Segunda Enseñanza de Artemisa y se examinan el por qué del traslado de dicho centro a otro local, además, la zona escolar de sus alumnos.

The process of formation of the Institute of Second Teaching of Artemisa in Cuba
ABSTRACT. In historiographical studies, one of the least discussed topics is related to the history of education, mainly during the Republic. In this stage, the biggest gap is in the history of the academic institutions that made it up. In the municipality of Artemisa these investigations are even scarcer, so the present work aims to explain the process of formation of the Institute of Second Teaching of Artemis. Methods of the theoretical and empirical level were used respectively, such as: historical-logical and documentary analysis. The reasons for the creation of the Artemisa Second Secondary School are analyzed and the reason for the transfer of this center to another place is examined, as well as the school zone of its students.
