The PDDE and the pedagogical apparatuses

This work presents research related to school
management and the availability of resources for pedagogical
actions, considering the implementation of the Programa
Dinheiro Direto na Escola (PDDE). The program aims to
improve the quality of teaching, providing resources for the
renovation and maintenance of the school structure, for the
acquisition of teaching materials and other consumer products.
This is a quantitative and qualitative research, with data
obtained through the National Education Fund (FNDE) portal
and through dialogue with the school management of two
public schools located in the states of Maranhão and Tocantins.
The research aims to analyze how the resources offered by the
program are being used for the acquisition and distribution of
teaching devices among teachers and students. It was found that
the resource is insufficient and that, in the last 10 years, in none
of the institutions researched, the amount of funding paid was
constant.
